Terms & Conditions

Last updated July 20, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at mbcyoga.com and the classes, programs, memberships, and services offered by The Mind-Body Connection LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a yoga and Pilates studio at 952 North Central Avenue, Upland, California. By using our website, booking a class, or purchasing a membership or program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Booking and payment

Classes, programs, memberships, and other services are booked and paid for through our scheduling provider. Prices are shown at the time of booking and may change. Your first class is offered at an introductory rate for new students only. All bookings are subject to availability.

2. Memberships, class packs, and cancellations

Membership plans, class packs, and their specific terms, including auto-renewal, cancellation notice, pause options, and any related fees, are described on our Memberships page and presented to you before purchase. Those membership terms apply in addition to these Terms. Please review them carefully, as they contain the cancellation, pause, and no-show policies that apply to your plan.

3. Class etiquette and studio policies

To protect the quiet of a session, studio doors may be locked while a class is in progress. If you arrive and the door is locked, please call or text us and we will help you. We ask that you arrive on time, silence your phone, and let your instructor know before class of any injuries, health conditions, or pregnancy so we can offer appropriate modifications.

4. Health, safety, and assumption of risk

Yoga, Pilates, aerial practice, and related movement carry inherent risks. Our classes and programs are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. You should consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new physical practice, particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or illness, or managing a health condition. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree that you take part voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for practicing within your own limits and for stopping if you feel pain or discomfort.

Our therapeutic classes and yoga therapy are complementary practices intended to support wellbeing. They are not a diagnosis or treatment of any medical or psychological condition, and they do not replace care from a licensed medical or mental health professional.

5. Online courses

Some programs and courses are delivered online through a separate platform at courses.mbcyoga.com. Purchases made there are subject to the terms presented at checkout on that platform, in addition to these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, class descriptions, program materials, logos, and the studio name, is owned by The Mind-Body Connection LLC or used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission. Program and course materials are for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be shared or resold.

7. Conduct

We are committed to a welcoming, trauma-sensitive space for every body. We ask all students and visitors to treat instructors, staff, and one another with respect. We reserve the right to decline service or end participation, without refund, in cases of harassment, threatening behavior, or conduct that disrupts the safety or comfort of others.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Mind-Body Connection LLC, its owners, instructors, and staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, classes, programs, or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Text messages

By creating an account and providing a mobile number, you agree that The Mind-Body Connection may send you text messages about your own bookings and account: booking confirmations, class reminders, waitlist and schedule-change notices, account and payment notices, and replies to questions you send us. Studio news and offers are sent by text or email only if you opt in by ticking the "Send me studio news & updates" box, texting a sign-up keyword to our number, or telling us in person. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Our handling of your mobile number is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California.
