The Mind-Body Connection wasn't built from a business plan. It was built from a journey through rock bottom and back, and a conviction that yoga, done differently, can change a life.
We started with a simple belief: the people who need yoga most are often the ones who feel they do not belong in a yoga studio. The anxious. The exhausted. The ones carrying something they did not choose.
Our founder, Kevala, found her own way back through yoga, and what moved her most was the wish to share it. Not just the postures, but the mindfulness and philosophy underneath. To pass that on to others, she opened The Mind-Body Connection and has poured herself into building it, class by class. The method she teaches is therapeutic, trauma-informed, and rooted in the Viniyoga lineage of individualized practice.
More than 3,000 students later, that purpose has only deepened. This is yoga as healing, not performance. You come here to feel better, not to measure up.

Movement for healing, not poses for performance.

Compassion and safety first, you're met, never pushed.

Not just yoga, personal evolution, on the mat and off.
Certified, experienced, and real, every teacher here teaches from lived practice.
Meet the instructors"This studio offers therapeutic yoga along with vinyasa, ashtanga, meditation, aerial trapeze, and so much more. A wonderful variety."
"Thank you Kevala and Larissa for your dedication, patience, and expertise. I'm so glad I found the perfect yoga studio."
"Kevala redesigned the studio and it is so beautiful. The teachers and fellow yogis feel like family."
"A wonderful immersive experience. The hammocks made me lose track of my body and my mind was clear. Beautiful facility."
"I cannot recommend the prenatal classes more. I learned so much about safe movement during pregnancy, and so much more."
"Warm staff, I felt welcome, and they were very accommodating to where my body is at almost nine months pregnant."
The Mind-Body Connection was born in Upland, California, out of a lived journey through rock bottom and back, not a business plan. That origin is why our authority comes from transformation, not credentials, and why everything we teach is built for the people who feel they do not belong in a typical yoga room.
