Yoga for Back Pain

An hour of gentle, breath-led movement built around backs that hurt. Every shape has options, props are provided, and nobody is asked to perform. Taught by Kevala, a Certified Yoga Therapist.

Spots are limited, so reserve one. Complete beginners are welcome.

Free Spinal Assessment

Dr. Alexa Sers of Castle Health & Wellness Chiropractic will be here with their posture assessment equipment. It takes two or three minutes, nothing about it is invasive, and you see your results on the spot.

No booking needed. Turn up any time inside that window.

What the assessment actually involves.

Four steps, and you are done in a few minutes.

1. A short form

You fill in a brief consent form when you arrive.

2. The scan

They check your posture using their spine assessment machine.

3. Your results

They come up straight away, and you see them yourself.

4. The explanation

They talk you through what it shows and answer your questions.

If the results suggest a closer look would help, they may offer you a complimentary follow-up at their office here in Upland. There is no obligation, and nothing is sold to you on the day.

Worth coming if

Any of this sounds familiar.

  • Back pain you have stopped mentioning because it has been there so long.
  • Neck tension or headaches you have been putting down to stress.
  • A desk job, and a growing suspicion your posture is paying for it.
  • Plain curiosity about how your spine is holding up.

Back pain is the single most common reason people first walk into this studio. If that is you, this is an easy morning to start.

Who is coming in.

The Mind-Body Connection Yoga Studio Castle Health and Wellness Chiropractic

Castle Health & Wellness Chiropractic is a chiropractic practice here in Upland. Alongside their clinic they run free on-site spinal and posture screenings for local workplaces and groups across the Inland Empire, which is what they are bringing to the studio on the 12th.

Dr. Alexa and Dr. Caden will be running the assessments. We invited them in because the questions we hear most often at this studio are about backs, necks and posture, and this is a chance to get a straight answer about yours without booking an appointment or paying for anything.
