1. What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register, express interest in our products and Services, participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise contact us. This may include: names, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, contact preferences, contact or authentication data, debit/credit card numbers, and billing addresses.

We do not process sensitive information. If you make purchases, payment data needed to process the payment (such as your payment instrument number and security code) is handled and stored by our payment processor. If you register using a social media account, we may collect certain profile information as described in "How do we handle your social logins?" below. All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.

Information automatically collected

Some information, such as your IP address and/or browser and device characteristics, is collected automatically when you visit our Services. This does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information collected through cookies and similar technologies, including log and usage data, device data, and approximate location data. This is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services and for internal analytics.

2. How do we process your information?

We process your personal information to facilitate account creation and authentication, deliver our Services, respond to inquiries and offer support, send administrative information, fulfill and manage orders and payments, enable user communications, request feedback, send marketing communications in line with your preferences, post testimonials (with your consent), protect our Services, administer prize draws or competitions, evaluate and improve our Services, identify usage trends, measure marketing effectiveness, and comply with our legal obligations. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.

3. When and with whom do we share your personal information?

We may share your information in the following situations: Business transfers, in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition; and Google Maps Platform APIs, where we may share location information with certain Google Maps APIs. You may revoke your consent at any time by contacting us.

4. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We may use cookies and similar technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some help maintain security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save preferences, and support basic functions. We also permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies for analytics and advertising. To the extent these are deemed a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable US state laws, you can opt out as described in section 11.

The specific analytics and advertising technologies we use include Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). The Meta Pixel helps us understand how visitors use our site and measure the effectiveness of our advertising, and it may allow us to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. These advertising and analytics technologies load only after you accept cookies through the consent banner shown when you first visit, and you may decline at any time by choosing "Decline," with no effect on your use of the site. To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, visit tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can manage your advertising preferences with Meta in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, and learn more in Meta's Privacy Policy.

5. How do we handle your social logins?

If you register or log in using a third-party social media account (like Facebook or X), we may receive certain profile information from your provider, often including your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this only for the purposes described in this notice. We do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your information by your social media provider.

6. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. No purpose will require us to keep your personal information for longer than thirty-six (36) months past the start of the idle period of your account. When we have no ongoing legitimate need to process it, we will delete or anonymize it, or securely store and isolate it until deletion is possible.

7. Do we collect information from minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to their use. If we learn we have collected information from a user under 18, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to delete the data. If you become aware of any such data, contact us at info@mbcyoga.com.

8. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on your location, you may review, change, or terminate your account at any time. If we are relying on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, though this will not affect the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link, replying STOP to SMS, or by contacting us. If you have questions about your privacy rights, email us at info@mbcyoga.com.

9. Text messaging (SMS)

When you create an account or give us your mobile number in the studio, The Mind-Body Connection will text that number about your own bookings and account: booking confirmations and class reminders, waitlist and schedule-change notices, account and payment notices, and replies to questions you send us. We send studio news and offers by text or email only if you tick the "Send me studio news & updates" box when you create your account, text a sign-up keyword to our number, or tell us in person.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us; you will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply START to opt back in, or HELP for help. You can also call us at (909) 488-4622 or email info@mbcyoga.com.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected for text messaging are used only to send you the messages described above. We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Our text messages are delivered through Twilio, a messaging service provider that processes messages solely on our behalf.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most browsers and some operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. Because no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will inform you in a revised version of this notice.

11. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to request access to and details about the personal information we maintain, correct inaccuracies, obtain a copy of, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Your rights may include: the right to know whether we are processing your personal data; to access it; to correct inaccuracies; to request deletion; to obtain a copy; to non-discrimination for exercising your rights; and to opt out of processing for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling.
